LAVARIS LAKE at the Garden + Landscaping Middle East

logo-gardening-landscaping-middle-eastBecause of the dramatic increase in inquiries from Arabian countries, Managing Director Carsten Pachnicke has decided to travel to the United Arab Emirates May 17 - 19. At the leading Mideast trade fair for gardening and landscaping, Garden + Landscaping 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, he and regional representatives of the company will for the first time directly present the multitude of patented, internationally proven products to solve water problems and care for surface water to the gulf states and surrounding areas.

Despite the current economic crisis, Arabian companies and international investors continue their vast development projects in oil states, and they place greater and greater emphasis on environmental protection and sustainability. This is an opportunity for LAVARIS LAKE to prove its strengths: "We have hardly modified our recipes since 2003," explains Managing Director Pachnicke. Even back then, the products met all of the requirements of the strict German and EU quality standards that apply today.

For potential Arabian customers, the fact that most of the substances used to care for and protect bodies of water are also used in potable water is of particular interest. The company, founded in 2003, soon had renowned partners from Germany as well as many other countries. State garden festivals, well-known golf clubs, many municipal and industrial pond operators as well as landscapers from all over Europe quickly and reliably solved even their trickiest problems with the help of the water researchers from Hof. The high degree of product innovation – the products solved 98 percent of all known water disturbances reliably and in an environmentally friendly way – cause revenue to nearly double every year.

The Arabian countries are very attractive to LAVARIS economically: Experts estimate that, in the six member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council alone, the landscaping market volume over the next five years will be around 16.4 billion US dollars. In Dubai, one of the United Arab Emirates, 45 million US dollars was invested to convert desert areas to gardens, parks and golf courses. Newly created bodies of water are an integral part of these concepts. However, the intensive solar radiation in this part of the world disrupts the water balance, one result being persistent algae growth. LAVARIS LAKE is the ideal partner to deal with these cases.
